I'm currently listening to Sufjan Stevens' album Come on Feel the Illinoise! It's pretty dang sweet even though i really only listen to three of the songs.
Come On! Feel the Illinoise! seems to mix music from Peanuts and then it segues into a bit of The Cure's Close To Me. I like the refrain "Are you writing from the heart?" for some reason.
Chicago is great because it's featured in the Little Miss Sunshine movie and I associate the two.
Casimir Pulaski Day is quite a sad tune about death that reminds me of Craig Thompson's Blankets. I think it may be because of the sweet tone and the melancholy religious references.
...and that's the end of this post.
